my friend they make a good product.
The ls1 intake is worth every penny. when i can afford one i will be getting one.

Sinistr, PPC does not stand for Professional Products. Here at PPC we only sell their products along with 150,000 other products. All I can say is that we have sold plenty of their throttle bodies and intakes and have not had a complaint yet. In the performance business it very rare that you hear good things about a product. But you can bet you will definitely hear the bad. Dennis93TA I am glad you are having good success with your throttle body.

I didn't mean to put out anyones fire or piss in anyones cheerios.. In fact I posted before reading to know that a vendor was doing a group purchase on them. I'm sorry,

I still stand behind my statement in the fact that everything i've recieved from professional products has been junk. I've had 1 typhoon intake on a 5.0 and 2 of those PP intakes that where done with anderson motorsports. One on a car that makes 650 at the wheels and another that went 9.44 @ 143mph last saturday. The one that made 650 at the wheels picked up about 10rwhp with the intake. The car that ran 9.44 lost power. Both intakes had to have serous work done just so that the ports and injector bosses would line up. IE they wouldn't just come out of the box and bolt on the car.

My 2 cents.

I'm sure it sounds like PPC sounds liek great people and are willing to work with you if you had the trouble i've had with professional products inthe past.

Alvin,
I appriciate your insight and input. I think that we be OK since we are not buying the intakes. I have learned that in general big $$ doesnt always mean big quality, and coversly to that - you get what you pay for. I think if PP takes a GP like this and they have quality issues, they will stand behind it. If not, they will be in it deep. It will also affect PerformanceParts.com id PP sells a crappy part to a GP. I am keeping my fingers crossed, i have had good luck so far with off brand, low $$ alternatives to parts for my car:
305/340 RWhp/tq
13.2@103
all on stock exhaust, stock suspension, stock from flywheel back, stock internals, 300$ in bolt ons

you know, now i have to agree with alvin... we had a car come in the other day, 2000 camaro with bolt on modded LS1 and a professional products intake and fuel rails... well they may look good but the flow on them suck ass... they have sealing issues and it flows worse than a stock LS1 intake..
he is right it is a complete worthless POS.. that is the nice thing about having your own dyno is nice because we get to test all these products first hand.. doing base line pulls to see what she does first and then adding these products to see how it changes and effects the engine and see what you gain.
but i have to agree, that dont waste your money on these products. not worth it... i was actually surprised to see them have a booth at PRI in orlando this year... thats was shocking...lol...
